The Optima Excel Local Display (OELD) is a smart junction box for the Searchpoint Optima Plus. infrared detectors for flammable hydrocarbons. The OELD includes an LCD screen for gas information, a “traffic light” indicator for at-a-glance detector status, and Bluetooth® connectivity for simplified, non-intrusive maintenance. Simply pair the OELD with our intrinsically safe, ruggedized smartphone; then use the OELD smartphone app to interact
with the gas detector from up to 10 meters (30 feet) away. For maximum flexibility, the gas detector can be mounted either directly or remotely to OELD to suit any situation.

The patented optical design used in Searchline Excel has proven itself as the only solution available that fully addresses all the challenges of open path gas detection. Unlike some competitive devices, it does not try to hide fundamental design inadequacy with the use of software masks that can compromise the unit’s ability to detect gas. Searchline Excel employs
a patented double band pass filter that fully compensates for all types of fog and/or rain thereby allowing it to continue operate accurately and reliably in all climatic conditions.

Range provides comprehensive monitoring of flammable,toxic and Oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres, both indoors and outdoors. Users can modify detector
operation using the LCD and magnet switches without ever needing to open the unit. This enables one-man, non-intrusive operation and reduces routine maintenance time and costs.

A tri-color backlit LCD clearly indicates the unit’s status at a glance, even from a distance.
A steady green backlight indicates normal operation, flashing yellow indicates fault and flashing red indicates an alarm. All detectors are supplied pre-configured and include 2 programmable alarm relays, 1 programmable fault relay as well as an industry standard 4-20mA output

The mV type transmitter is for use with the mV family of XCD sensors including catalytic sensors to detect flammable gases in the range 0-100%LEL

Infrared (IR) sensors for detection of Hydrocarbon gases in the range 0-100%LEL and 0-100%Vol*,
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the range 0-2%Vol.

The EC type transmitter is for use with the EC family of XCD sensors including 

Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulfide, (H2S) and Hydrogen (H2).

2-wire loop powered toxic and Oxygen gas detector for use in potentially explosive atmospheres                                 DOWNLOAD_S3000MK

The Series 3000 MkII provides comprehensive monitoring of toxic and Oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres, both indoors and outdoors. This low powered gas detector operates on an industry standard 2-wire 4-20mA loop, making it ideal for both new and retrofit
applications. Users can configure the detector without the need of a ‘hot work permit’ by using the LCD and magnetic switches. Fault diagnostic software and programmable calibration due frequency simplifies maintenance procedures.

The intrinsically safe smart sensors are supplied pre-configured and can be ‘hot swapped’ without having to remove power to the detector, saving time and money during commissioning and routine servicing. A remote sensor mounting kit is available that allows the sensor to be mounted up to 15m (50ft) from the transmitter, making it ideal for operation in areas that are difficult to access.

Supplied with a pre-wired junction box, a detector can be installed using conduit or armored
cable and glands depending on individual site standards.

Sensepoint flammable and toxic gas detectors allow for hands free, unhindered access, to
terminals via the hinged lid of the junction box. Supplied with earth continuity plate for improved
immunity to RFI the junction box offers the installer a choice of 1/2”NPT, 3/4”NPT and
M20 connection via conduit or steel wire armored cable and Exe certified cable glands.
Sensepoint flammable, toxic and oxygen gas detectors are designed for direct connection

The Sat-Ex gas detection unit provides the ideal solution for monitoring corrosive, combustible, and toxic gases in areas subject to explosive atmospheres. The unit is approved according to ATEX classification EX II 2 G EEx d ib II C T4 for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2.
